Producer Profile: Jimmy TR

Jimmy has always had an opinion on movies, television, music, & popular culture.  If you combine that with a distinct affinity for getting into a debate, then you have Jimmy TR in a nutshell.

Being a child of the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, Jimmy was surrounded by what he calls “classics”, but what you may refer to as “clichéd shlock”. That didn’t stop him from being heavily influenced by the comic stylings of Richard Pryor, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Bill Cosby, & Bob Dole.

Jimmy tends to stick to the “clichéd shlock” of his day: Queen, Napalm Death, the comics mentioned above (although he, admittedly, doesn’t pay attention to Bob Dole anymore, preferring to keep up on Lewis Black, Bill Burr, and Jim Jeffries); as well as action & sci-fi classics, such as Lethal Weapon, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Uncle Buck, and Red Dwarf.

The boring stuff, in his own words:
“I’m a vegetarian.  There, I said it.  I have three cats, love Chinese food, and own more than one video game system.  I know exactly what that makes me, and, if you’re reading this, then you are one, too… er, also.”
